Cindy Dyke
Cindy Dyke has been the operations and production manager at Baseline Contract Sewing since 2012. In addition to her wealth of knowledge in production, design, and sourcing, Cindy is a major draw for our clients because of her demanding production schedules and friendly communications. Cindy’s deep contract sewing background includes work with boot soles, mountain packs and many other complex commercial products. She is widely regarded as the top manager of sewing operations in the region. As Dick Rouse, the owner of Aspen GMP Sales Group, put it: “I have been in a lot of shops in this industry, and Cindy Dyke is the damn best manager I have ever seen.”
Ramon Mares
Ramon Mares is the head of our cutting department. With over 20 years of cutting shop experience, he is an extremely productive and accurate fabric cutter who pays close attention to material usage efficiency. We are one of the few shops remaining where a computerized cutting department is no more efficient than our personal cutting department because of Ramon’s incredible accuracy and attention to detail.
Tim Riehl
Tim Riehl oversees our printing, fulfillment, and advanced technology applications. From screen printing to vinyl heat-transfer cutting, Tim is highly productive in decorating products and designing custom pieces of art. He also operates and programs our digital printing DTF and dye-sub printers.
Herbert Riehl
Herbert Riehl is the founder and guiding light of Baseline Contract Sewing. Herb gets involved in every facet of the business and works closely with our clients to make sure we deliver the highest quality products every time.
Patti LaFond
Patti LaFond is our highly experienced accountant and bookkeeper. Patty is a lovely person and our main client contact for billing matters.
History
Our company was founded under the name Sportwaves Unlimited by Herbert Riehl and LeeAnn Staples in 1989. Our original focus was manufacturing athletic bags for baseball, softball, and soccer. Within a year, we expanded our operations to include contract manufacturing, sewing, and print production.
Today, Baseline Contract Sewing serves a wide range of clients from around the country. Though a lot has changed over the years, we still maintain our reputation for quality, dependability, and fast delivery times.
We pride ourselves in taking care of our clients’ products as if they were our own. You’ll see this in our highly efficient production processes and our excellent quality standards.
